SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo will have the daunting task of reaching the Nedbank semi-finals without six of the club's attackers, a nightmare task for any coach.
The club will be without Bradley Grobler, Kudakwashi Mahachi, Giuly Manziba who are all out with various injuries.
To add insult to injury, the club also have their only available strikers in Thamsanqa Gabuza and Iqraam Rayners both serving suspensions after being sent off against Lamontville Golden Arrows, while Sipho Mbule is suspended due to an internal disciplinary process.
"If you look at this season, we've struggled a lot in terms of scoring goals. Bradley Grobler last season was the top goalscorer so if you don't have 16 goals, you are bound to suffer as a team because 16 goals is a lot! We've missed that though Gabuza has chipped in with the goals here and there, but we didn't really have someone different because Gabuza and Bradley are two different players," Tembo told journalists at the club's media open day.
"Now Gabuza is out, which means we have to reshuffle the pack as well and move Gampani Lungu into a more central position and we'll see how it goes but I think we'll be able to put out a strong team on the day to give us a strong performance," he added.
