On Saturday, March 10, Manchester United will host Liverpool in what is dubbed as the match of the week. The Reds come into this fixture on a high after they progressed to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League during the week. On the other hand, the Red Devils will be hoping to hold onto their second spot position on the log standings as they are only two points ahead of Jurgen Klopp's charges.

Kaizer Chiefs are set to host Stellenbosch FC in the last 16 round of the Nedbank Cup. Amakhosi will be looking to turn their fortunes around after their 3-1 defeat in the Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates. However, Stellenbosch will be out for the kill as they take on their PSL opponents.

Match of the Week

Manchester United v Liverpool (English Premier League)

Match 1  Soccer 6  Pool 10 March S6 V2 P1

League Rankings: Man United 2nd Liverpool 3rd

Useful facts: Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp's teams renew their rivalry this Saturday at Old Trafford. The Red Devils came from two goals down to defeat Crystal Palace 3-2 in a hard-fought victory on Monday evening, courtesy of Nemanja Matic's strike in the dying minutes of the game. Although Mourinho's charges were able to extend the gap by just two points, second place is still up for grabs for the duo. Meanwhile, the visitors have had quite an impressive run in the last five games played in all competitions, winning four and drawing one. The last three league games between the two sides finished in a draw. The Reds and Man United played to a goalless stalemate in the first round of the season.

Kaizer Chiefs v Stellenbosch FC (Nedbank Cup)

Match 5 Soccer 6 Pool 10 March V2 P1

League Rankings: Chiefs (PSL) 5th Stellenbosch 10th (NFD)

Useful facts: After a thrilling Soweto Derby clash where Amakhosi lost 3-1 to an impressive Orlando Pirates last weekend, the Glamour Boys will look to heal their wounds as they turn their attention back to the Nedbank Cup. Chiefs will host Stellenbosch FC at their second home ground, Moses Mabhida Stadium. With Bucs having dented their archrivals' title hopes, the pressure mounts on coach Steve Komphela, as he is still on a quest for his first silverware since taking charge of the Naturena team in 2015. Komphela's side will look to take advantage of the visitors' poor form as they seek to book their berth in the quarter-finals. The duo will be meeting for the fourth time in all competitions, with Amakhosi being the victorious side in their last encounter – Chiefs defeated Stellenbosch 3-0 last year, knocking them out of the very same competition.
