Espanyol will face off Levante in the Spanish La Liga on Friday, 12 October. Both sides are fighting to secure maximum points as they occupy the 14th and 10th spot on the log standings, respectively.

Lyon and Monaco will go head-to-head in a French Ligue 1 fixture. Depending on other results, a win for Monaco could see them top the log standings, while the home side will be looking to tighten their defence as they have conceded 13 goals in eight league games.

Real Betis will take on Valencia on Sunday, October 15. Both clubs are separated by two points on the La Liga log standings and will be hoping to take their continue with their winning form.

 

Espanyol v Levante (La Liga) 

League rankings: Espanyol 14th Levante 10th

Useful facts: Espanyol are in 14th position on the log with eight points and seem to be on a downward spiral. In their last two games, Espanyol lost to Real Madrid and won against Deportivo respectively. Meanwhile, Levante aren't doing that better than their opponents, as they are in 10th position with nine points. They lost their last two games, to Alves and Real Betis respectively. Only a single point separates the two sides.

Lyon v Monaco (Ligue 1)

League rankings: Lyon 8th Monaco 2nd

Useful facts: Lyon are placed eighth on the log, with 13 points. They drew 3-3 against Angers in their last game, proving that they can score as much as they can concede. They have only won once in their last five matches. Meanwhile, Monaco are in the second position and a win could see them go top of the log, depending on other results.

Real Betis v Valencia (La Liga) 

League rankings: Real Betis 6th Valencia 3rd

Useful facts: Both sides will be out for a win so as to see them moving up the table and keep within distance of the league's pacesetters. Real Betis won their last two games convincingly, thrashing Levante 4-0. Valencia, on 15 points, are only six points adrift of La Liga leaders Barcelona and have won all their last three games, including the 5-0 annihilation of Malaga.
