On Saturday, September 9, Stoke City will be hosting Manchester United in an EPL fixture. The Red Devils are currently in the first position on the log standings and are two points ahead of Liverpool in second, while their opponents, Stoke have collected four points from three encounters.

Second-placed Barcelona will be playing at home against Espanyol. The Catalans will be looking to continue with their winning ways to stay at the top of the La Liga standings.

Arsenal and Bournemouth will go head-to-head in a league match. The Gunners have lost two of their three encounters, however, their opponents have lost all three.

Stoke v Man Utd (Premier League)

League rankings: Stoke 11th Man Utd 1st

Useful facts: Jose Mourinho's team comes into this game like a house on fire, scoring 10 goals and not conceding a single one in three consecutive league wins, while Stoke has been less fortunate – with a loss, a win and a draw from the opening three matches. United are actually undefeated in 30 of their last 32 Premier League games, but Stoke is not an easy team to beat, as Man United found out in four of their last six games against them, with three of those ending in stalemates.

Arsenal v Bournemouth (Premier League)

League rankings: Arsenal 16th Bournemouth 18th

Useful facts: There aren't too many teams in worse shape than Arsenal right now, with the Gunners losing their last two games, conceding eight in three so far this season. Bournemouth is a team that is worse off, however, losing all three of their games in the league this season. Furthermore, the Gunners won three and lost none of their last four games against the Cherries.
