The mood is high in the Kaizer Chiefs camp following the team's emphatic win over AmaZulu on Wednesday, with influential defender Daniel Cardoso saying that the team is eyeing another victory against Cape Town City.
Amakhosi will be at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday to attempt to make it two wins in a row in order to move further up the log after jumping from 14th to 10th place in midweek.
Cardoso, 31, says Amakhosi are hoping to continue with the performance and fighting spirit they showed at Kings Park Stadium to upset the unpredictable Citizens, who have won four from their 10 matches.
"Another tough game, it's not going to be an easy one, we've got to collect three points, we've been very good on the road. We hope to continue the performance. If we can put up another fighting spirit as we did against AmaZulu, we should walk away victorious," said Cardoso, speaking through Chiefs' media department.
Both matches that Chiefs have won in the league this season were away, against Chippa United and AmaZulu respectively.
The Soweto giants have collected seven points away from the 10 they have so far in the campaign.
