As Kaizer Chiefs prepare to take on Mamelodi Sundowns this weekend, a former Amakhosi defender has picked his ideal line-up to take on the DStv Premiership champions.
The Soweto giants will travel to the capital on Sunday to take on the 11-time Premiership champions, in what is going to be their second meeting, barely a month into the new campaign. The sides met in the MTN8 in August and it finished 2-2 after extra-time, before Sundowns went on to win it in a penalty shootout.
Now, immediately after the international break, they will meet again and former Amakhosi right back Isaac Mabotsa has given the Siya crew his ideal line-up for the Soweto giants ahead of the clash.
Bruce Bvuma has played in the two Premiership matches in goal for Amakhosi, but Mabotsa feels Itumeleng Khune would be ideal to start in goal for this encounter.
At the back, Amakhosi coach Stuart Baxter has gone with the central defensive pairing of Mulomowandau Mathoho and Daniel Cardoso, but at right back, Mabotsa favours Reeve Frosler instead of Njabulo Blom.
Mabotsa is hoping Baxter will have the duo of Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat, who are both former Sundowns players.
