Cape Town City prepare to host SuperSport United this weekend, and in the last meeting, Matsatsantsa reigned victorious with a 2-1 win, but the Citizens have the historical advantage of three wins in the last five meetings.
SuperSport have last featured in a competitive game over a month ago in a press conference ahead of the game, City coach Jan Olde Riekerink says that his side has to focus on their strengths.
"I have no clue if they have played friendlies. Our biggest advantage is that we are playing at home, we can dominate a game and that we are a close group," Riekerink told the media.
With nine games to go, the Mother City club is 7th on the log, and the Dutch coach outlined his expectations for the fixture.
"It's not about game to game, we have to get the momentum. We have fantastic players, we can play football. At the end, you can play bad, and win games.
"We have four games in a very short period. We can achieve much higher. I know how the players are thinking, and what the aim of the club is. And we still believe in the goal we have together," the mentor added.
The clash is scheduled for Saturday 10 April at 15:00.
