Kaizer Chiefs in recent years have not lived up to the standards that Mzansi knows. The Glamour Boys last tasted silverware during the 2014/15 season when they won the DStv Premiership title. Chiefs, historically, are one of the biggest clubs on the continent, but there have been many challenges that have proven difficult to overcome. Chiefs currently find themselves in 4th position on the log, a staggering 20 points behind crowned champions Mamelodi Sundowns. Looking at the statistics, Amakhosi have scored the majority of their goals within the first quarter of the match, but schoolboy errors have prevented the club from maintaining their lead and claiming all three points.
The Nedbank Cup returns to our screens this weekend with some mouthwatering fixtures. Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, Sekhukhune United, and Chiefs will gear up to take on Stellenbosch FC, Dondol Stars, Chippa United and Royal AM.
Chiefs will be looking to progress to get their hands on silverware, while Downs will hope to continue their local dominance, and Dondol will be wanting to cause another upset.
On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi has reacted to Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana's statement and also predicted what they think will occur during the quarter-final fixtures of the Nedbank Cup!
