Although we covered that there has been no official reveal on the next installment of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), a recent article by Konami regarding in-game bonuses states that the next title is coming this year.
Reports in the media have indicated that a full release might not be on the cards for PES 2021, but that a season update might arrive instead. Although this is not confirmed, Konami released an article detailing the Veteran's Bonus where they stated, "The bonuses you receive will be based on the milestones you achieved while playing PES 2020's myClub mode, and will be available in-game when the next PES title launches this year."
Players who took part in the myClub mode on PES 2020, or PES 2020 LITE, will be eligible to receive the Veteran's Bonus. The milestones mention are as follows:
· Number of Iconic Moment Series and Legend players owned.
Receive bonus Special Agents depending on how many of these players you own in myClub.
· Number of matches played in Matchday mode.
Receive bonus Special Agents depending on the total number of matches you played in PES 2020's Matchday mode.
It remains to be seen how the developer will approach PES 2021, considering that EA SPORTS FIFA 2021 has already been officially announced for both current generation consoles and next generation machines, and will hit shelves in early October.
