EA SPORTS have made some improvements to FIFA 20 servers which should address some of the more recent problems that online players have been experiencing.
Lag can be a major source of frustration and can sometimes be detrimental when attacking or defending, and this is one of the issues that has been worked on by developers in the most recent update.
Although these changes may not have covered all elements that have been present over the last few months, the move to better online performance will certainly improve quality of life.
In a statement, the developers noted that the changes will impact all versions of the game across console platforms and PC.
On PS4, Xbox One and PC the following changes were made:
- Adjustment to improve online performance in a match that is being impacted by frequent network jitter.
- During an online match with frequent network jitter, this change is intended to help hold a steady frame-rate and reduce visual stutters.
On the same platforms, the following issues were also dealt with:
- Sometimes, the Bob Marley 75th Anniversary kit would clash with referee kits
- Updated Alex Stevanovic's nationality
- Zachary Elbouzedi's hairstyle was not displaying correctly during replays
- Addressed several miscellaneous audio issues.
On the FUT Companion App, it was also noted that the spelling of Erling Håland's name was corrected.
