Big Changes Announced For FIFA 21 Career Mode

Big Changes Announced For FIFA 21 Career Mode

After the recent reveal trailer for FIFA 21, developers EA SPORTS have detailed the changes that they have made to career mode for the upcoming football game.

The developers received some backlash regarding the minimal changes in the last edition of the game, and they have now revealed eight of the new changes fans can look forward to in the next game.

Grow your player how you choose with the ability to train a player for a specific position. This means that you can focus on turning your left-back into a winger if you choose to.

Match sharpness is a new mechanic that will determine how well players will perform in those key moments in a game.

Active training means that you can now organise group training that will help improve sharpness, finishing or tackling, while Activity Management will let you decide how much training and rest your team gets between games.

EA has also stated that AI will be enhanced so that your opposition keeps the game fresh with intelligent decisions in defence and attack.

If you prefer watching over your team as the manager, instead of playing out entire matches, you can look forward to a more interactive experience. The new simulation mode will let you jump in and out of games, whether you want to take set-pieces or try turn the tides. During management view, you'll also have more control over tactical changes during a game.

Signing players has also been given some changes, with the ability to sign loans with an option to buy, including potential add-on fees to future transfers, while you can also offer player swaps.

The developers also mention "Authentic Transfers" as a new option as part of the increased set-up options prior to starting out your career. Interestingly, you can also receive cash injections with a Financial Takeover.

There is likely to be a lot more info coming out regarding FIFA 21 in the coming months, so be sure to stay updated right here on SL Gaming.
