The Siya crew has been reliably informed that Egyptian giants Zamalek have joined the race for Kaizer Chiefs striker Caleb Bimenyimana.
As reported by the Siya crew last week, the Burundi international has garnered interest from the likes of Wydad Casablanca and an unnamed Polish team as per reports in local media.
But, it appears that the lanky striker is not short of options in terms of his next move.
The latest news reaching the crew is that Zamalek have expressed an interest in the striker and have submitted a formal offer for his services to Chiefs.
"Yes, it's true that Zamalek want the player and that they have sent an offer to Chiefs," a source informed the crew.
Information made available to the crew indicates that Bimenyimana's contract with the Glamour Boys ends in June 2024. The crew understands that the club have put the player up for sale less than a year after he joined.
He had scored eight goals in 21 appearances for Chiefs last season.
