TS Galaxy are making progress in their pursuit of Keagan Dolly, with sources suggesting that the club is preparing to formalise their interest in the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder.
Dolly has been training with the club for the last week.
Early indications are that Dolly has impressed the club's management with his regained fitness and readiness for competitive action.
The midfielder, 31, has been a free agent since parting ways with Amakhosi five months ago after a successful three-and-a-half-year stint.
While a number of clubs had expressed interest in his services, only SuperSport United had taken concrete steps, having had Dolly undergo a medical. However, SuperSport head coach Gavin Hunt opted to sign Vincent Pule instead, leaving Dolly in limbo.

While Dolly's training stint at SuperSport was initially framed as a temporary arrangement, TS Galaxy have invited the player to train with them instead, where they could have a closer look.
With Dolly now back in full fitness, it's understood that Galaxy could look to open talks with the player's camp in the coming days, according to Siya sources.
The recent appointment of Adnan Begovic as TS Galaxy's new head coach has also sparked new optimism for the move.
Begovic's arrival could be a key factor in the club's strategy to bring Dolly in, as they look to strengthen the squad. While it remains to be seen how the change in coaching staff will influence the deal, sources indicate that Dolly is high on the club's radar.
