Stellenbosch FC are believed to have rejected a R4 million offer from Kaizer Chiefs for one of their key midfielders, Sihle Nduli, concerning a potential January transfer.
As initially reported by Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi had shown interest in Nduli, but the Cape Winelands club are understood to have firmly declined this initial proposal.

Insiders close to the club have indicated that Stellenbosch FC are seeking at least R7 million, a figure Chiefs are currently negotiating to facilitate a possible move.
"Despite keeping quiet for some time on the matter, Chiefs haven't given up on Nduli and that's why they tabled an offer to Stellenbosch FC of what is believed to be around R4 million which Stellies apparently rejected and put up a counter offer of R7m. At the moment it's not yet clear whether Chiefs will negotiate on that R7m or whether they are giving up on Nduli. But at the moment Stellenbosch are looking at that amount of R7m and they are willing to sell him," the insider stated.
A second source stated that Stellenbosch FC are ready to enter negotiations, aiming to sell Nduli before his contract expires at the end of the season.
"No, Stellies don't have a problem selling him right now as they want to make some money while they still can. Let me tell you Nduli's contract is coming to an end in June 2025 and this is the only chance they have to either sell him or renew his contract but since there is interest from Kaizer Chiefs they want to capitalise on that. So let's hope with negotiations going on something could happen," the second insider stated.
Since joining Stellenbosch from TS Galaxy in 2022, the 29-year-old Nduli has been consistent in his performances. He played many games in his first and second seasons, and has already appeared consistently in the Betway Premiership in this campaign.

Attempts to reach Chiefs for comment were unsuccessful at the time of preparing this story. Stellenbosch FC media officer Liam Bekker responded to the Siya crew.
"As a matter of policy, the club does not comment on transfer-related rumours and speculation," Bekker told Soccer Laduma.
As negotiations between Chiefs and Stellenbosch FC continue, the future of Nduli remains uncertain. Both clubs are strategically weighing their options, with Chiefs aiming to strengthen their squad. The resolution of these talks will significantly impact both the player's career and the teams' plans for the upcoming transfer window.
