The Siya crew understands that the future of Orlando Pirates defender Nkosinathi Sibisi is set to be finalised sooner rather than later.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Sibisi has an option in his contract with the Soweto giants. His current deal expires at the end of the campaign and it's understood that the Buccaneers have to indicate whether or not they are going to extend his deal in January.

Sibisi has been in good form for Pirates this season, leading the club as captain. He has formed a good partnership with Thabiso Sesane at the back and this is probably going to make it difficult for the likes of Tapelo Xoki and Olisa Ndah to get back into the starting line-up.
Pirates have a two-year option in Sibisi's contract and they have an opportunity to take the first one in January to keep him at the club for at least another year.

An announcement on the future of Sibisi is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
Pirates, meanwhile, will be playing CAF Champions League football this weekend when they take on Ivorian club Stade d'Abidjan at Orlando Stadium.
