SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews has given clarity into how their deal with Orlando Pirates is structured for midfielder Thalente Mbatha.
The 24-year-old midfielder joined Bucs on a six month loan contract until the end of the season and there is an option to make the deal permanent.

Mbatha has made three appearances for the Buccaneers, showing glimpses of the brilliance he displayed in the early parts of his career at SuperSport. During the first half of the season at SuperSport, the midfielder from KZN had only made five appearances in all competitions.
He was unable to fully get going in his career at SuperSport, but a move to Pirates could inspire a big shift and a permanent deal with the Buccaneers.
"We have agreed a structure with Pirates should they wish to make the move permanent," Matthews said to the Siya crew in a brief chat.
Should Mbatha impress SuperSport, however, they have an option of recalling him or selling him to other clubs that show an interest in his services, though Pirates remain the first commitment.

"We will review that at the end of the season. He remains our player and an asset and that means we can elect to recall him from loan at the end of the season or to entertain a Pirates offer, or consider other options we have from other interested clubs. Our first commitment is to Orlando Pirates and once we have exhausted those negotiations we will make a final decision."
Mbatha, meanwhile, was named man of the match in Pirates' 1-1 draw against Cape Town Spurs on Wednesday evening.
