Mamelodi Sundowns are not only securing their present but also their future between the posts, having recently extended Ronwen Williams' contract, and now there is another player set to sign on, according to insiders privy to information.
Now, in the latest developments, Siya sources close to Chloorkop have indicated that the club is set to reinforce their goalkeeping department further by offering Jody February an extended stay.

The sources have added that the Brazilians are finalizing a deal that would see February's tenure at the club extended by an additional three years, with an option for a fourth year.
February's current contract is nearing its conclusion, set to expire at the end of the season. However, the proposed new contract is expected to secure his services until at least June 2027.
"The team wants to keep their goalkeeper. The youngest one of them all is Jody February and they want him to stay at the team and continue to learn from the experienced ones. That's why they have offered him a new contract for three years with a one year option," said the Siya source.
"They believe in him and that's why they are keeping him. The player is is also happy because he knows his time will come and he has already been given a chance to play this season," the source told Soccer Laduma.
With Denis Onyango's impending retirement at the end of the season, Sundowns are keen to maintain a strong goalkeeping unit. The club aims to have four top goalkeepers, including Williams, Ricardo Goss, Reyaad Pieterse, and February himself
"You know Sundowns are known for having the best goalkeepers in their ranks and four is a good number if you look at how many tournaments they play in. There are injuries and suspensions. They need to have capable goalkeepers ready to take over whenever hence they are keeping Jody (February) for another three years or so. The competition will be good for the team," the source observed.
This strategic move by the Brazilians underscores their commitment to building a robust squad capable of competing across multiple fronts. By securing February's future at the club, Sundowns are ensuring that their goalkeeping department remains competitive and resilient, ready to face the challenges of domestic and continental football, particularly since the introduction of the African Football League.
Soccer Laduma contacted Sundowns for comment but the club had not responded by the time this story was published.
