There has been talk of a potential deal involving Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC regarding the services of Thabiso Monyane, and close sources have confirmed the latest to the Siya crew.
According to reports, Monyane has been one of the players that Stellenbosch would be interested in if he was to be made available for a move in this transfer window.

The reports were further fuelled by the recent move of Deano van Rooyen from Stellenbosch to Pirates last week on a three-year deal plus an option to extend.
With Pirates also having Thabiso Lebitso and Bandile Shandu as right-backs in coach Jose Riveiro's team, there has been talk of a potential move for Monyane although a close source has now told the Siya crew otherwise.

"There's been that talk but that's not the plan for Pirates. He (Monyane) is in the plans, because if you remember Shandu is coming back from injury, and the games are coming thick and fast for the team," said the source.
A second insider provided further insight on the matter, revealing an alternative potential option for Stellies.
"Stellenbosch have other plans about reinforcing their right-back position and there is a player who is being targeted from Nigeria to join the team if all goes according to plan. As I am talking to you, that player might be on his way, or already with the club," a second source confirmed to the Siya crew.
