"You know, although Linda Mntambo is the club captain there is a lot of work that Daniel Cardoso does for the team as a leader and the club is looking to work with him even after his playing days and that's why they have offered him a new two-year deal to stay at the club until June 2028 when he will be 38-years-old. They value his contribution outside the playing field a lot," the second insider revealed.
Cardoso joined Babina Noko in 2022 after leaving Chiefs as a free agent. He often serves as the on-field captain when Mntambo is not playing and has featured in many Betway Premiership matches for Sekhukhune United this season.
