According to close sources, the Buccaneers could further strengthen for coach Jose Riveiro's team for next season, with Congolese striker Guy Mbenza being one of the players offered to the club.
Mbenza, 23, is currently on the books of Saudi Pro League club Al-Tai, having joined from Belgian side Royal Antwerp last year.
"Guy Mbenza is open to a move to South Africa and Orlando Pirates is one of the clubs considered for him to join if it happens that he leaves his current club. There is a local agent that is offering the player to Pirates and it will be for the club to decide to make a move for him," said the source.

"He is a top striker from Congo and is currently on the books of Al-Tai in Saudi Arabia. He has CAF experience and has played in different leagues in Africa and Europe," the source concluded.
The Siya crew understands that Mbenza is still contracted to Al-Tai for one more year and is on big money deal, which would make it difficult for him to leave in this transfer window.
Furthermore, the Saudi outfit has an option of one more year to extend the deal with the bulky centre-forward.
