With his contract set to expire in June 2025, Chippa United are understood to be working on tying down and Orlando Pirates target.
The Chilli Boys are believed to have offered Sinoxolo Kwayiba a new two-year deal amid strong interest from the Soweto giants, with indications from sources that the offer looks set to include an additional one-year option in an effort to retain his services.

Insiders at Chippa revealed to the Siya crew that the club is aware of Pirates' interest and is keen to avoid losing Kwayiba on a free transfer. Indications are that negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage.
"The interest from Orlando Pirates is still there and the club doesn't want to lose him for free if he doesn't sign a new contract this transfer window period because his current contract ends in June 2025. He signed an initial two-year contract when he joined from Pretoria Callies in 2023. And now the team is offering him another two year improved deal until June 2027. So though it's not a done deal yet he would rather be safe than sorry knowing that Chippa want to keep him than rushing for a deal which may not happen. For now it's an offer of two years and let's wait and see," a source informed the Siya crew.

"It works both ways for Chippa United. If he goes to Pirates they will benefit from the sale as he will be contracted to them. They will cash in on him because he will be contracted to them. But at the same time even if he doesn't go then they will make sure that he is still their player for the next two years and help the team going forward. So the two years offer tabled for him is a good deal for both the club and the player as things stand right now," the source observed.
Kwayiba joined Chippa United in 2023 from Pretoria Callies. Last season, he played 11 games and scored four goals. This season, he has already made nine appearances, netting twice. His impressive performances earned him a call-up to Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad, where he recently made his debut.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Chippa United's Executive Director Lukanyo Mzizi for comment, but there was no response at the time of publication.
