After a week of Kaizer Chiefs expressing interest in Zambian international goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata, who plays for Zesco United, another PSL club has emerged as a contender for his signature.
Indications are that Magesi is looking to strengthen multiple areas of their squad, including the goalkeeper position, with the intention of providing competition for Elvis Chipezeze.

Sources close have revealed to the Siya crew that the Limpopo side has dispatched scouts to Zambia to monitor the former Sekhukhune United shot-stopper.
"As much as they are set to sign young goalkeeper Tsepo Lingcwele Mahauza they have also turned their attention to Zambian international Toaster Nsabata whom is also on Kaizer Chiefs' shopping list. This will be interesting to see whether Magesi could wrestle him away from Chiefs but you know football is a funny game and anything can happen. So let's wait and see," a source revealed to Soccer Laduma.
Another insider further explained that Magesi are not only looking for a goalkeeper to challenge Chipezeze, but also to provide reliable cover in case of injuries or suspensions.
"Yes it's true they are looking at the young Tsepo Mahauza but Nsabata is meant for an immediate impact in the team, as he could come in as soon as they need him, while the youngster would still need time to adjust. So that why they even sent their scouts and recruiters to Zambia to look at Nsabata and they were happy. And above all coach Owen Da Gama knows him from his days at Sekhukhune United so this would work well," the source added.

The 31-year-old is currently the first-choice goalkeeper for both Zesco and the Zambia national team, and he will be looking to maintain his top form as Zambia prepares for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco later this year.
The Siya crew reached out to Magesi for comment, but received no response at the time of publishing.
