Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United have been joined by at least one more PSL suitor in the chase for the signatures of sought-after Cape Town Spurs duo, the Siya crew has been reliably informed.
While Chiefs are understood to be waiting for the appointment of their new coach before making announcements on new signings, Spurs' Ashley Cupido and Rushwin Dortley remain among the players the Soweto giants are linked with.

Cupido and Dortley were some of the top performers from Spurs' disappointing 2023/24 season which ended in the club's relegation from the DStv Premiership.
Several PSL clubs have showed interest in the duo, with Chiefs and SuperSport understood to have since been joined by Stellenbosch FC among other clubs in the pursuit, according to sources.
This week, Spurs confirmed the return of Ernst Middendorp who was initially announced as having parted ways with the club earlier this month.
The experienced German mentor has been tasked with leading the team's campaign of a return to the topflight, although he might have to first hunt for a few new players to bolster his team, as several members from this past season's squad could be edging closer to exit.

"There is a bit of a concern for the coach at Spurs as he is likely to have some of his players from this past season on their way out. It's quite a difficult one but it is also the nature of the football business especially during these tough economic times," said the source.
"Ashley Cupido and Rushwin Dortley won't be there next season and you can guess between Chiefs and Stellenbosch on where they are possibly going, as well as the club you have mentioned (SuperSport). They are as good as gone," the source added.
