Insiders privy to club information have indicated that given the recent upturn in form, management and board have reconsidered their stance. They've reportedly assured the co-coaches that if the team maintains its current form and finishes the season in the top eight, then they are likely to be given the opportunity to continue next season.
"When the team was looking at bringing in a new coach it was when the results were not looking good. But the coaches and the whole technical team have raised up their hands and the team is performing well now. The coaches have bought themselves time to stay at the club by winning a few games and collecting important points to take the team into the top eight. For this season that's what the club has been aiming for and if at the end of the season the team is in the top eight then the coaches could have achieved their mandate and that's why they could still be safe at the club," the Siya source stated.
