Following the dismissal of Spanish coach Pablo Franco Martin, AmaZulu FC appointed co-coaches Arthur Zwane and Vusumuzi "Kanu" Vilakazi with the aim of improving team performance.
However, inconsistent results are believed to have prompted the club's hierarchy to think again. Have they begun the search for a new coach again? The Siya crew investigates with insiders privy to information at Usuthu.

Siya sources close to the club have indicated that there is indeed concern over ongoing results, with fears that the team might finish outside the top eight if swift action is not taken.
Insiders added that while potential coaches are thought to have been identified, this is not the time to disclose their names to avoid disrupting the club.
"Of course the board and management are not happy with the results. They changed the technical team because they wanted the results to improve but it seems things are not working the way they had hoped that they would. That's is why they have already identified another coach who can take over if fortunes don't change. No, I can't say who the coach is but I can tell you that the possibility of change is very high if results don't change in favour of the team. There is a possibility of a new coach before the end of the season," the Siya source stated.
A second insider stated that the club's goal of finishing in the top eight remains unchanged, regardless of whether Zwane and Vilakazi, or a new coach is in charge.
"It really doesn't matter who will do it as coach whether it's the new one or the same present technical team, the management's mandate is at least a top eight finish. So, with the way things are going now they have to make changes fast whether it's by bringing in good results or bringing in another coach. But the main priority this season is to see the team finish in the top eight and compete in the MTN8 next season, " the second source stated.
Usuthu face crucial decisions in their quest for improved performances and a top-eight finish. With management's reported mandate and potential changes on the horizon, the coming weeks could prove pivotal for the club's future direction and success in the league.
The Siya crew contacted AmaZulu for comment but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
