Despite his early reluctance, Bafana Bafana striker Fagrie Lakay is set to seal a switch in the Egyptian Premier League.
Earlier this month, the Siya crew reported that Lakay was embroiled in a standoff with Pyramids.
This is after his club were keen on involving the forward in a swap deal with Cleopatra Ceramica, which would see long-term Pyramids target Sodiq Awujoola go the other way.

But the player was against the move and instead demanded his entire salary for the season in order for him to be released from his salary.
A few weeks on and Pyramids announced that they have reached an agreement with Ceramica for the transfer of Awujoola, with Lakay and Mahmoud Zalaqa - plus cash - included as part of the deal.
The move by the Pyramids hierarchy comes as a massive surprise given that Lakay was a crucial part of the club's setup last season, netting an impressive 12 goals and four assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.
The striker recently made a return to Cape Town, but he is expected to jet out to Egypt to conclude his move.
