Following a recommendation made by the PSL's executive committee to have Royal AM's membership cancelled, the board of governors will vote on the expulsion of the club, due to the club's inability to fulfill it's obligations in the league.

Royal AM have not played any PSL football since December, as SARS took over the club in an effort to recover some of the R40 million in taxes owed to them by owner Shauwn Mkhize.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at Sandton Convension Centre at 11am, with Mkhize expected to be present for the proceedings, with the possibility of addressing the PSL member clubs.
The sale by the SARS curator to businesman Roy Moodley fell through recently and the PSL is expected to finish with 15 clubs for the first time in its history. The league will return to 16 clubs next season, with the top club in the Motsepe Foundation Championship set to take up that spot.
