The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially announced a new partnership with global performance analysis company Hudl, marking the league’s return to the platform after a period of absence.
The agreement, which spans two seasons from 2024/25 to 2025/26, will give Hudl access to video footage and performance data across South Africa’s top-flight Premiership, the second-tier Championship, and the DStv Diski Challenge (U-23 league).

All match content from these competitions will be made available via Wyscout, Hudl’s industry-leading platform and the world’s largest database of football video and analytics. The move is expected to benefit scouts, analysts, and clubs both locally and internationally, enabling a more data-driven approach to talent identification and team analysis within South African football.
The partnership reaffirms the PSL’s intent to modernise its technical and scouting infrastructure while providing its clubs and players with international exposure and tools to enhance performance.
Hudl, which serves over 200,000 sports teams worldwide—including elite clubs and national teams—offers a comprehensive suite of video and data tools, from mobile apps to advanced analytics and smart cameras. Its software is used in more than 40 sports by over six million users, reinforcing its global influence in athlete development and coaching support.
This renewed collaboration is likely to be seen as a significant step forward for the PSL and its member clubs in aligning with global football performance standards.
