According to an insider, the club is believed to be seeking a striker who can provide additional goalscoring options.
"Yes, they have been looking for a striker for some time now and though the only one they have really identified is Yanela Mbuthuma from Richards Bay United," a source revealed to the Siya crew.

"Pirates would want to find a striker who will fit in the team's playing system. The scouts and the technical team are monitoring strikers both locally and in other leagues in Africa," the source added.
The Siya crew reached out to Pirates for comment, with no response received at the time of publishing.
