Orlando Pirates will be forced into making a change at right back for the MTN8 final, but the Siya crew has been led to believe that it's something they have been planning for well in advance.
New signing Deano Van Rooyen has been playing at right back in all of the Betway Premiership matches, but will have to watch this weekend's MTN8 final from the stands at Moses Mabhida Stadium because he is cup tied.

Van Rooyen played for his former club Stellenbosch FC in the quarterfinals against TS Galaxy before joining the Buccaneers, so he is not permitted to feature for another club in the same competition in one season.
Pirates, however, are not too worried about the situation, even though they will miss the presence of Van Rooyen. Thabiso Monyane will be back in contention after serving a one match suspension in Pirates's last match against Richards Bay during the past weekend, which they won 1-0.
What's interesting is that the player picked up the yellow card while he was on the bench in the league clash against Polokwane City last week, leading to a one match suspension. He is available for selection for the final and indications are that he will start at right back for the Buccaneers.
The Siya crew understands that Paseko Mako is also an option for Pirates at right back. He is a left footed player, but head coach Jose Riveiro has used the former Chippa United player at right back, showing how versatile he can be.

Mako came on as a stoppage time substitute against Richards Bay, making his return to the team after a long absence. Pirates, though, might not take the risk of starting him in the final.
