There is still so much to play for and the last thing Orlando Pirates would want is to miss out on glory after not adding to their squad in the January transfer window.
The season ahead is still long and the Buccaneers have let go of three players in Gilberto, Katlego Otladisa and Sandile Mthethwa, but they are yet to bring in anyone new before the close of the window this evening.

There are still a few hours before the window closes and Pirates could announce a new addition or two. Even if they don't, assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has confirmed they have enough in their arsenal to challenge for the three different competitions they are still involved in - the Betway Premiership, the CAF Champions League and the Nedbank Cup.
"Coaches are very greedy. They are always looking for players that are (available). We try and focus on what we have. I think we have enough quality within the club. As I said earlier, you will always look for something more in the market, but if there is anything that management and the coaches feel is necessary, we will add that," Ncikazi said on Tuesday afternoon at a Soweto derby build-up press conference held at Rand Stadium.
"If it happens, then it's good for the team. But we will wait and see."

Pirates, though, are not the type to get too excited in the market and the increase of players coming through their ranks means that they don't feel any pressure to always try to bring in new faces from other clubs.
"It's big work and a number of stages that the club is engaged in. Credit should be given to management for formulating such a system. It's systematic from the top, where we are not only buying what is in the market but we are also promoting what is within our structures," Ncikazi said.
February will be a big month for Pirates in terms of chasing leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premiership, while their journey to win a third straight Nedbank Cup title will continue. It starts with the Soweto derby clash against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium this Saturday.
