The Siya crew can reveal that Gerald 'Jomo' Modabi is back at Orlando Pirates in a new role at the club.
Modabi played for the Buccaneers between 2006 and 2008 before he returned to Dynamos FC, which is where the Soweto giants had signed him from.

In the earlier stages of his career, Modabi played for SuperSport United in the early 2000s, before featuring for Wits University, Silver Stars and Jomo Cosmos, among other clubs.
While he didn't play much during his time with Bucs, the Chiawelo-born star proved himself as a midfield strongman who gave opponents a tough time with his high work rate although it can be argued that his off-the-field antics affected his career.
The 41-year-old has been spotted at Pirates and sources have confirmed to the Siya crew that he has joined the club as a coach in the youth ranks.
"Gerald Modabi is back at Orlando Pirates and is with the development. He is coaching the club's U19 team," confirmed the source.

Contacted for comment, Modabi refused to confirm his return to the Bucs on official appointment though he didn't deny his presence at the club.
"I've got a friend at Pirates and that is Joseph Makhanya who is my former teammate and I will visit now and again to talk about football," he said.
