Royal AM coach John Maduka has made it clear about his intentions and targets for the club.
The KZN-based side is having a good season, on course to finish in the second position, with a shot at the Nedbank Cup.
Maduka has set his sights on doing a double, winning the Nedbank Cup and finishing in second place on the league standings.
"If situations are like that, it is more to our advantage, because we have two chances to qualify for CAF competitions, I think it is an opportunity to go either through to the Nedbank or to position number two. All we need is to focus," Maduka told the media.
"It is very important for us to go all the way in the Nedbank Cup and do well in the league. Now, our opponents is Tuks, number two in the GladAfrica Championship and they beat Chippa United, they have a good squad and no difference from the DStv Premiership team, but people expect us to win and that's huge pressure on us.
"We want to go all out as the club even though we will respect the opponents. It is very important for us to do well win this cup for KwaZulu-Natal, we are only two left and I believe this beautiful province deserves something in football."
Maduka has proven himself as a top coach and according to him, it is about collective success, he feels the club deserves individual recognition.
"You know when it comes to individual awards, it is good for a team to produce leaders and if some things like that had to happen, it would be good for the club.
"Also goes with me too, it would be motivating to see that happening."
