Summerfield Dynamos coach Clinton Larsen won't be using the Mamelodi Sundowns clash to sell himself and has explained his reasons.
The Durban outfit will be travelling to Pretoria to face Masandwana in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday, a game that is seen as an opportunity for many to sell themslves to other teams in the Premier Soccer League.
Former Golden Arrows and Chippa United coach doesn't think he has something to prove to anyone, as his track records speaks for itself.
"Not at all. I think I was coaching in the PSL for ten years. I don't have to remind anyone about my capabilities," Larsen said. addressing media in Durban this week.
"There's young fresh minds coming up in the PSL, doing well for their teams and must be given opportunities to coach teams."
Larsen says he is more than happy to stay with the ABC Motsepe side as he wants to focus on promoting the club to the GladAfrica Championship.
"I'm not obsessed with coaching in the PSL, that's why I took up this project. I had numerous offers in the GladAfrica Championship that I could've opted for but I took this project because it is something close to my heart," he added.
"This is the best time of my coaching career and I've been coaching since 2003 with Durban Stars and Nathi Lions. I've never been this happy. I have great, good people around me and I can't ask for more."
