Pitso Mosimane's charges will lock horns with SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium today, with the head coach admitting that it will be a tough encounter.
Sundowns will be the away side against Matsatsantsa in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals, with both Tshwane sides coming off the back of wins in the Absa Premiership.

Despite Sundowns' winning their league encounter against SuperSport in the opening fixture of the Absa Premiership, Mosimane is weary of his on-form neighbours.
"We are playing a very tough opponent and it's a local derby. It's never easy. We play a team on form, a team that has showed that they have resistance against us, they proved to be tough opponents against Orlando Pirates and showed resistance against Kaizer Chiefs," Mosimane said on Sundowns' official website.
"They are a strong team. But we hope we do well because it is an away game for us and if we can score it will give us an advantage. But we should also not concede goals. So we don't have to be too emotional in the first game because we still have a chance to correct things in the second game. But at the same time sometimes you need to take the game earlier than waiting for the second game. We are looking for our own consistency as well," he added.
