AmaTuks Extends Unbeaten Start To The Season

University of Pretoria 1-0  All Stars
University of Pretoria extended their unbeaten run to six matches after defeating All Stars 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Ayanda Mvambi secured the game's only goal in the second half after nodding home a cross from Samuel Julies.

The win sees AmaTuks return to the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship standings, while All Stars have dropped to seventh.

Uthongathi 1-0 Magesi FC

Uthongathi got back on the winning trail with a 1-0 slender triumph over Magesi FC.

Lerato Ntamane's second-half strike secured maximum points for the home side, who have moved up to third spot.

Magesi, meanwhile, will end the weekend in 12th position after suffering their third loss of the campaign.

Casric Stars made it back-to-back wins for the first time after defeating Pretoria Callies 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Mumuni Abubakar was on target for the second straight encounter after scoring two-first half goals for the home side.

Black Leopards 1-2 Platinum City Rovers

Platinum City Rovers secured their first win of the season at the sixth time of asking after defeating Black Leopards.

The win takes Rovers off the foot of the standings, with Leopards dropping to 16th position as a result.

Leopards have registered just one win from their first six games, while the other five matches have ended in defeats.

JDR Starz 1-2 Hungry Lions

Hungry Lions continued their impressive start to the season after defeating JDR Stars 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Tshepo Mohlala and Muzomuhle Mcebiseni Khanyi got the goals for the visitors, who end the weekend in fourth spot.

Tshepang Moremi did bag a consolation for Starz, who have now suffered back-to-back losses for the first time this season.

Baroka 1-2 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila extended their unbeaten run to five matches with a 2-1 win over Baroka FC.

Sekela Sithole opened the scoring for the home side, before Tshakuma managed to level matters shortly before the break.

TTM went on to bag the winning goal in the second half courtesy of a strike from Moeketsi Sekola.

Cape Town Spurs 2-0 Polokwane City

Cape Town Spurs got back to winning ways in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after defeating Polokwane City 2-0 on Friday afternoon.

Ashley Cupido was the hero for the Mother City outfit and continued his fine start to the season by grabbing a brace, taking his tally to four goals in five matches.

It was also Spurs' first home win of the season, while Rise and Shine suffer their second loss of the campaign.

NB La Masia 1-0 Venda Football Academy

NB La Masia ended their run of four games without a win after defeating Venda Football Academy 1-0 on Friday afternoon.

Former Maritzburg United winger Yusuf Jappie scored the game's only goal in the second half to hand La Masia their second win of the campaign.
