Richards Bay FC coach Pitso Dladla has revealed some of the steps taken to help the club move on from last season' disappointment of missing out on the GladAfrica Championship title last season.
The Natal Rich Boyz lead the GladAfrica Championship table until the second-round games in the 2020/21 season, but went on to lose in the promotion play-offs against Chippa United after finishing third.
Dladla's charges have come back stronger this campaign as they are unbeaten in nine games and currently siit in second position two points behind JDR Stars.
"There's nothing much we are doing, players are united and dedicated. We prepare ourselves for any team in the league, we are hungry," Dladla told Siya crew.
Dladla revealed how the club boss Jomo Biyela helped the club move from last season's heartbreak.
"We were disappointed about last season and we couldn't do anything about it, we had to move on, we must thank the chairman Mr Biyela and our manager Jeffrey Fakude for their hard work behind the scenes to help these players deal with what happened last season and bounce back," he added.
"We are planning to do that throughout the season to win the league, do more team buildings, involve psychologists to be in a right state of mind for this tough battle."
