JDR Stars 1-2 Platinum City Rovers
JDR Stars failed to keep track with the pace-setters in the GladAfrica Championship after going down 2-1 to Platinum City Rovers on Saturday.
It is a return to winning ways for Rovers following their midweek loss to TS Sporting, while Stars had Tshepo Mashigo's first half strike cancelled out by quick fire efforts in the second half from Rovers.
University of Pretoria 1-0 Black Leopards
Struggling Black Leopards remained at the foot of the table following a 1-0 loss away to the University of Pretoria.
Like AmaTuks, Lidoda Duvha played to a draw in midweek but on this occasion it took a late finish from Thabang Sibanyoni to get the all-important points.
Polokwane City 2-0 Uthongathi FC
Polokwane City went into second spot on the table following a 2-0 victory over Uthongathi FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
It is a succession of victories for Rise and Shine following their emphatic 4-0 triumph over Hungry Lions FC in midweek where Uthongathi played to a 2-2 draw against the University of Pretoria.
Cape Town All Stars 1-0 Cape Town Spurs
Cape Town All Stars kept their push for a playoff position and subsequent top spot on track through a 1-0 win over Cape Town Spurs in the Cape derby.
Igugu le Kapa have not lost from nine matches played in the league, while Spurs stuttering run of form continues unabated.
Free State Stars 2-2 Pretoria Callies
Free State Stars were not able to close in on the top-five bracket following a 2-2 draw against Pretoria Callies.
Stars' campaign received a boost in midweek through a 2-1 victory at Cape Town Spurs, and a brace from Moeketsi Sekola this time had them close to another win, but Callies stole a point.
Jomo Cosmos 0-0 Hungry Lions FC
Jomo Cosmos's winless run of results extended to seven matches as they could only hold Hungry Lions FC to a goalless draw.
The host sit second bottom on the table with the least number of wins, with Lions welcoming the point following their dismal 4-0 loss to Polokwane City.

Richards Bay FC regained top spot on the GladAfrica Championship table through a late 1-0 win over Venda Football Academy on Sunday.
The Natal Rich Boyz, who were yet to win since restarting their campaign, got the winner in the dying stages through Simphiwe Mcineka.
TS Sporting 0-0 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC
TS Sporting missed out on a succession of victories after settling for a goalless draw against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC.
Vhadau vhadamani entered the clash following a midweek stalemate against JDR Stars, as Sporting were able to get the better of Platinum City Rovers.
