JDR Stars 1-0 Venda Football Academy

League leaders JDR Stars stretched their lead at the summit of the GladAfrica Championship standings on Tuesday with a late 1-0 win over Venda Football Academy.

Defender Abel Moeketsi conjured up the winner in the last three minutes, with the match headed to a goalless draw, whilst Venda's run without a win extends to eight matches.

Polokwane City 0-0 Jomo Cosmos

Jomo Cosmos' run without a win got prolonged away to Polokwane City, who battled to play a goalless draw.

Ezenkosi are at the bottom of the table and lost to JDR Stars prior to tackling City, whose inconsistent run of form continues after winning previously against TS Sporting.

Richards Bay FC 1-0 Pretoria Callies

Richards Bay FC snatched back-to-back wins for the first time this season in the way of a 1-0 victory over Pretoria Callies at the Princess Magogo Stadium.

The victory see the host in seventh spot, six points from the top of the table, as Vusimuzi Mngomezulu got the decisive strike late in the first half.

For Callies, its back-to-back losses for the second time this term two weeks from their 6-1 mauling of Cape Town Spurs and has since dropped to 12th spot.

University of Pretoria 4-2 Cape Town Spurs

University of Pretoria handed new Cape Town Spurs Shaun Bartlett a losing start with a 4-2 score-line at the Absa Tuks Stadium to remain two points behind first-place JDR Stars.

AmaTuks needed Etiosa Ighodaro to wipe out Jarrod Moroole's opener before Chumani Butsaka restored parity for Spurs following the second half.

However, Sanele Barns, Harold Majadibou and Luvuyo Phewa got the host back level and subsequently to three points.

Cape Town All Stars 1-0 Black Leopards

Black Leopards remained in the bottom-two after going down 1-0 to Cape Town All Stars at the Idas Valley Sports Ground.

Its successive losses for Lidoda Duvha following Saturday's defeat to Free State Stars, with All Stars getting the winner in the second half to go within the top-five elite.

Free State Stars 2-2 Uthongathi FC

Free State Stars came from behind to stage a 2-2 draw against Uthongathi at the Goble Park Stadium to solidify their top-half standing.

Kaizer Chiefs loanee Lebohang Lesako netted the opener for Uthongathi before Thato Mohlamme made it two after halftime; however Ea Lla Koto rose from the jaws of defeat.

Platinum City Rovers 5-1 Hungry Lions FC

Platinum City Rovers slammed Hungry Lions FC 5-1 in the battle of the promoted outfits at Olen Park to remove Uthongathi from third spot, with veteran midfielder Oupa Manyisa featuring.

Morena Monaheng's own-goal got the ball rolling before Mbulelo Wagaba added a brace whilst and Natlaba and William Radebe joined the equation amidst the visitors reply.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC 0-1 TS Sporting

TS Sporting returned to winning ways at the expense of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC with a 1-0 win at the Thohoyandou Stadium to leave Vhadau vhadamani three points from safety.

Abantu Bemtheto dropped to 13th from 11th place following their loss to Polokwane City on Saturday, but Mohau Mokate's first half finish has elevated them back to their prior spot.
