Mamelodi Sundowns begin their Telkom Knockout journey with a round of 16 clash against AmaZulu at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The match is scheduled to start at 15h00.
The Brazilians have not done well in the Telkom Knockout over a few years and will be eager to reignite the memories of the title they last won in 2015 after beating Kaizer Chiefs 3-1 in the final.
Last season, Masandawana were knocked out by eventually champions Baroka FC in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Usuthu seeming have a new lease of life after bagging their first win of the campaign with a 2-1 victory over Cape Town City under new coach Jozef Vukusic before the international break - ending a seven-game winless run.
The Durban-based side reached the quarter-final stage of the tournament last season but they were knocked out by Orlando Pirates in extra-time.
AmaZulu have won the League Cup once in 1992 when it was still known as the Coca-Cola Cup.
