Teams: Chippa United and Bloemfontein Celtic
Date: 22 October 2019
Venue: Sisa Dukashe Stadium
New Chippa United coach Norman Mapeza will be looking to make an immediate impact in their Telkom Knockout last 16 clash against Bloemfontein Celtic on Tuesday evening at Sisa Dukashe Stadium.
The match will get underway at 19h30.
Mapeza will be in charge of his first match after being appointed on the same day the Chilli Boys lost 1-0 to Bidvest Wits in the league just before the international break.
The Zimbabwen-born mentor is Chippa's third coach so far this season, after caretaker Duran Francis and his predecessor Clinton Larsen were relieved of their duties.
The Chilli Boys are the only side yet to win a match so far this season and a win against Siwelele will boost their morale. Last season, they were knocked out by Orlando Pirates in the first round of this tournament.
Meanwhile, Phunya Sele Sele are also going through a rough patch, having registered only one victory from their last five outings in the league.
Lehlohonolo Seema's army have not played a competitive game in almost a month after going down 1-0 to Black Leopards on 29 September.
Last season, the Free State outit bowed out of the League Cup in the first round after narrowly losing 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
