DStv Premiership Starting XI: SuperSport United v Chippa United

DStv Premiership Starting XI: SuperSport United v Chippa United

SuperSport United and Chippa United will both be looking to bounce back in the DStv Premiership when they clash on Tuesday evening.

Teams: SuperSport United v Chippa United

Date: 05 April 2022

Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium

Time: 17h30

Matsatsantsa will be searching for their first victory in four matches after they suffered a 3-2 defeat against Golden Arrows playing with nine men in the latter stages Saturday.

Kaitano Tembo's charges dropped down to eighth on the log with 30 points but they held on to a top eight spot by the skin of their teeth, as they are equal on points with ninth-placed Sekhukhune United, with a slightly better goal difference.

SuperSport will be without two key strikers Thamsanqa Gabuza and Iqraam Rayners due to suspension after they were both sent off against Abafana Bes'thende.

The Chilli Boys, meanwhile, will be looking for their second win of the year 2022 after they were thrashed 3-1 by Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend.

Kurt Lentjies' troops are lying precariously in 13th spot on the table with 21 points, three points above the relegation zone and will be looking to extend that cushion to six points.

The sides could not be separated in the first round clash after playing to a goalless stalemate in October last year at Sisa Dukashe Stadium.
