Kaizer Chiefs have the chance to move back into second position on the DStv Premiership standings when they host Golden Arrows on Saturday.
Teams: Kaizer Chiefs v Golden Arrows
Date: 19 March 2022
Venue: FNB Stadium
Time: 19h30
Chiefs last played 13 days ago when they beat arch-rivals Orlando Pirates 2-1 in the Soweto Derby. The Amakhosi can leapfrog Royal AM if they win with two games in hand over the KZN outfit.
Amakhosi are on a four-match unbeaten run in the league since their defeat by Royal AM in December 2021 and haven't lost to Arrows in the sides' last five meetings.
The Soweto giants have been boosted ahead of encounter after their appeal to play two outstanding matches they initially did not honour due to Covid-19 in December 2021 was upheld.
Meanwhile, Arrows are coming off the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Chippa United 12 days ago. Lehlohonolo Seema's side are in 11th position on the standings and can bolster their hopes of a top-eight finish with a positive result in Johannesburg.
The last time the sides met Lebogang Manyama scored a magnificent hat-trick but the once PSL Player of the Season has only been used sparingly by Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter this season.
