Kaizer Chiefs travel to Gqeberha to face Chippa United with both sides seeking a victory following disappointing results prior to the international break.

Teams: Chippa United v Kaizer Chiefs

Date: 02 April 2022

Venue: Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium

Third-placed Amakhosi will be looking to use their three games in hand to their advantage in their quest to close the 16-point gap with table toppers Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Chilli Boys who lie in 13th position, are only four points ahead of bottom of the table Baroka and will be looking for maximum points in order to steer clear of the relegation zone.

The Eastern Cape side will also try to avenge their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of the Soweto outfit in their first-round encounter at the FNB Stadium, where Keagan Dolly ran the show with a brace and an assist.

Chiefs have dominated recent encounters between the two sides, winning four of the last five league fixtures between them, with Chippa winning once in the return fixture last season.

Chippa United are surprisingly yet to win a match at home this season ahead of hosting Chiefs, who have claimed five wins on the road this season, drawing four matches and losing twice.

Here's how they line up:
