The Libyan outfit, as a result, leapfrogged Saoura in second place by three points and need to avoid defeat to book their spot in the knockout stages.

Al-Ittihad will qualify even if they lose and Saoura don't get maximum points against Royal Leopards but the Algerian side have a better head-to-head record over them and Al-Ittihad will crash out if they lose and Saoura beat the eSwatini outfit.

The Libyan side also have a chance of topping the group if they complete a double over Pirates after beating them 3-2 in the reverse fixture.
