The Angolans missed out on the Champions League last eight last season after finishing third in Group C behind Wydad Casablanca and Kaizer Chiefs.
Sundowns come into the encounter high on confidence after defeating Golden Arrows 6-0 in DStv Premiership action on Tuesday, with Peter Shalulile bagging a hat-trick on the day.
These two sides faced off in the 2019/2020 Champions League group stages, with the clash in Luanda ending in a 2-2 draw while Sundowns the reverse fixture 3-0.
