Mamelodi Sundowns face Sudanese side Al-Merrikh in their final CAF Champions League group stage fixture at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Teams: Mamelodi Sundowns v Al Merreikh
Date: 02 April 2022
Venue: FNB Stadium
Time: 15h00
Sundowns are already assured of top spot in the group, while Al-Merrikh are bottom and need a miracle to qualify.
The match is essentially a dead rubber for the Brazilians but co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi has insisted they won't be resting on their laurels.
Rivaldo Coetzee has been ruled out for four to six weeks with a hernia injury. Erwin Saavedra and Thapelo Morena are definitely out, while Gift Motupa is a major doubt.
Mngqithi has said the fact that the Bafana Bafana players were rotated by Hugo Broos means they don't need to be rested as much as initially expected.
Sundowns and Al-Merrikh played to a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture on February 19.
