Teams: SuperSport United v Black Leopards
Date: 25 October 2019
Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium
SuperSport United will aim to keep up with the Absa Premiership leading pack when they host Black Leopards at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday night.
The match will get underway at 20h00.
Matsatsantsa advanced to the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals over the weekend after edging Baroka FC 3-2 on penalties after it ended 1-1 after 120 minutes.
Meanwhile, Lidoda Duvha were dumped out of the Telkom Knockout after losing 6-5 on penalties to Highlands Park following.
However, SuperSport have been inconsistent in the league, winning only two of their last five matches and find themselves lying fifth on the table.
Leopards are looking to turn around their fortunes with Belgian coach Luc Eymael steadying the ship after replacing Frenchman Lionel Soccoia towards the end of September.
Lidoda Duvha dropped down to 13th on the log with eight points from as many matches after narrowly losing 2-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns just before the FIFA break.
In their duels last season, Matsatsantsa thrashed Leopards 4-0 in the first round clash, while Lidoda Duvha turned the tables to win 2-0 in the return fixture.
