Teams: Stellenbosch FC and Orlando Pirates
Date: 26 October 2019
Venue: Cape Town Stadium
Just seven days after the Telkom Knockout triumph, Orlando Pirates will lock horns with Stellenbosch FC once again in the Absa Premiership on Saturday afternoon at Cape Town Stadium.
The match will get underway at 15h30.
Pirates created a host of chances against Stellies in the Telkom Knockout first round clash but narrowly won 1-0 thanks to a late goal by Thembinkosi Lorch six minutes before full-time last weekend.
Mokwena's charges are not getting the desired results in the league, as they have won only one of their last six matches. Pirates played a 3-3 draw with Cape Town City in their last Absa Premiership outing and as a result, find themselves lying ninth on the table.
On the other hand, Stellies are starting to find their footing in the league after beating Polokwane City 2-0 in their last league game, which was their first victory of the campaign.
As a result, they moved up to 14th on the log with seven points from eight matches and they could leapfrog the Buccaneers on the table if they pull off a shock victory.
