Teams: Highlands Park v Orlando Pirates
Date: 29 October 2019
Venue: Makhulong Stadium
Orlando Pirates will be under pressure to get over their slump when they visit Highlands Park in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday evening at Makhulong Stadium.
The Buccaneers are going through one of their worst starts to the season after a 1-0 defeat to Stellenbosch FC last Saturday left them lying a disappointing tenth on the table with nine points from eight matches.
The Soweto giants don't have a good record against the Lions of the North, as they are yet to beat Gauteng outfit in their previous five matches in all competitions. The last and only time Pirates beat the Lions of the North since their promotion to top flight was back in 2016, in the quarter-finals of the Telkom Knockout.
Meanwhile, Owen Da Gama's troops already boast a 1-0 win over Rhulani Mokwena's charges this season, after claiming a 1-0 win in the quarter-finals of the MTN8 Cup in August.
The Tembisa-based outfit returned to winning ways over the weekend with a 2-0 victory over Chippa United this past Saturday. As a result, they climbed up to fourth on the table with 14 points from eight matches.
